Film production

Brand film production for companies

The company as it looks from the inside: your own people, your own locations, real work. Main film and versions from a single shoot.

Brand film: trust, not an offer

What is a brand film for?

A brand film shows who you are, and it can be used for years: in the hero section of your website, in recruiting, in negotiations, at events, in investor presentations. It does not sell an offer, it builds trust: the viewer can picture what it is like to work with you.

That is why a good brand film shows your own staff, your own locations and real work. Sets and stock footage cannot replace that, the viewer senses the difference.

Questions at the interview
  • What does the company do, and how is it different?
  • What are you most proud of?
  • What is a typical day like?
  • What do clients say about you?
The film starts from your story, not our ideaThe script already defines which scenes become excerpts and stills.

From interview to script

The brand film does not start from our idea, it starts from yours. We interview the manager and a few team members: what the company does, what makes it different, what you are proud of. From this we write the script and the scene list, which you approve.

The script already includes the versions: which scene becomes the 30-second cut-down and which ones become the vertical excerpts. That way the shoot works for every use.

One shoot, four uses

The versions are already in the script, so everything is produced from a single shooting day.

main film

Between 1 and 3 minutes, for the website, presentations and negotiations.

Usable for years if it is not built on a current offer. We shoot it so that parts can be refreshed later with a new team member or location.

cut-down

A 30-second version for advertising, made from the strongest shots of the main film.

Cut with its own rhythm, not just the trimmed opening of the main film.

vertical excerpts

Three vertical 9:16 excerpts for social media, with subtitles.

One thought or one person from the film, something that stops the viewer even while scrolling.

stills

Photos are also taken on the shooting day for the website and the press, in the same light.

That way the film and the photos appear in one style everywhere.

Brand film versions and uses

These versions are produced from a single shoot. The exact number is set in the brief.

What we shoot with

Sony FX3 and Sony A7 IV cameras, the full Zeiss Batis range (18, 25, 40, 85, 135 mm) and the Zeiss vintage range (20, 35, 50, 85, 135 mm), Sony 16-35 and 24-70 mm, ND, polarising and Pro-Mist filters, an Atomos Ninja monitor with Angelbird backup recording. Sound: Sennheiser G4 and Rode sets, Hollyland Lark wireless mics. Light: four Zhiyun Molus X100 RGB Pro, three De Sisti Magis 650 W, Godox and Ulanzi RGB LEDs.

We work with our own equipment on every shoot, so picture and sound are produced at the same standard whether we are shooting in an office or in a factory hall.

Editing, colour and sound in our own studio

We work on four master workstations (at least 128 GB DDR5, a 12 GB graphics card, 2 TB SSD, 40 TB HDD) with 4K, 10 and 12 bit monitors that are calibrated and certified every year to the Rec. 709, sRGB, HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR standards. Sound is mixed on Solid State Logic and Universal Audio equipment, on Genelec monitors, in a studio measured by a sound engineer.

Footage is recorded to dual memory cards and stored in three copies in two separate buildings for as long as the agreement requires. Raw footage is handed over on separate request.

Films we have made

Equipment and data security, raw footage and backup

Every shot is recorded to two memory cards at once, and on the day of the shoot it exists in three copies, two of them in separate buildings. Fire, water or any other damage cannot take the footage.

We work with our own equipment: Sony FX3 and A7 IV cameras, Zeiss lenses, broadcast grade sound and light. Editing and grading happen in our own studio on 10 and 12 bit monitors calibrated every year.

  • Three copies, two buildingsMaster workstation, our own NAS backing up with hashes over encrypted VPN, and a mirrored second master at another site.
  • Secure handoverFinished work arrives through an independent business cloud, which is one more backup.
  • Raw footage on requestStored as agreed, included in the price with an annual contract. Raw footage is handed over on request.

Frequently asked questions: brand film

How long should a corporate brand film be?

The main film is between 1 and 3 minutes, with a 30-second cut-down for advertising and vertical excerpts for social media alongside it.

Do we need actors?

Not necessarily. Authenticity often comes from your own staff, and we help them in front of the camera during the shoot.

How long can a brand film be used?

For years, if it is not built on a current offer. We shoot so that parts of it can be refreshed later.

What is the difference between a brand film and a commercial?

A commercial sells an offer in a short format, a brand film presents the company and builds trust. Both can be produced from a single shoot.

How many shooting days are needed?

Typically one or two days, depending on the number of locations and people on screen. This is set in the brief.
